GOTS : two labelling grades
“Organic Textiles” label
It requires 95% minimum of fibres, must be of certified organic origin, with a maximum of 5% synthetic or artificial fibres.
“Textile containing organic fibres” label
It requires at least 70% minimum of fibres, must be of certified organic origin, with a maximum of 10% synthetic or artificial fibres (this threshold is 25% for footwear and sportwear).
